Quand l’utiliser ?

Pour calculer PGCD, PPCM ou étudier la divisibilité.

La règle

Tout n≥2n \geq 2 s'écrit de façon unique n=p1α1⋯prαrn = p_1^{\alpha_1} \cdots p_r^{\alpha_r} (premiers distincts).\n\nPGCD : exposants minimaux ; PPCM : exposants maximaux.

Exemple

a=360=23325a = 360 = 2^3 3^2 5, b=84=22⋅3⋅7b = 84 = 2^2 \cdot 3 \cdot 7 ⇒ a∧b=12a \wedge b = 12, a∨b=2520a \vee b = 2520

Les pièges à éviter

a∧b×a∨b=aba \wedge b \times a \vee b = ab : vérification rapide.
